Alternative Septic System Options
Aerobic Treatment Units (ATUs)
Best for: Small lots, high water table, sensitive environments
Aerobic systems operate like a mini wastewater plant by adding oxygen to the treatment tank. This encourages aerobic bacteria to break down waste more efficiently than a traditional septic tank, producing a higher-quality effluent that can be more easily dispersed, even on challenging sites.
Mound Systems
